sunlight dances across your face.
the moonlight cries with jealousy in mind.
cause he knows he can't see that tan he gives you daily.
and the fact that the sun gives you a beautiful color that the moon wishes he could love.
the moonlight is jealous he can't see the gorgeous shine of your eyes.
or the fact that you light up with such a grace it makes him melt inside.
the moonlight is jealous he can't make you laugh like the sun can.
the way you smile when you're warm from the sun's embracive hug.
the moonlight is jealous of the way you breath.
he can only give you cold air which symbolizes death.
the moonlight is jealous you wake up to the sun's alarm clock.
and that you sleep during his time of show and tell.
but there is one thing the moonlight has that the sun doesn't.
he has the power to make you look up at him as if he were a beautiful god.
in the end, it was never really about the sun or moon.
it was about how there will always be better suns, for i am simply the moon.
