Born and raised in Windsor, Ontario where I have pretty much spent my entire life. My mother raised me alone and if I ever met my father at all it was when I was very young. As a teenager music became a huge passion of mine. Although I never learned how to play an instrument I believe all good and bad moments in your life should have a soundtrack and I could definately put it together for you. When I was 20 I went to an open DJ night and soon after started spinning at a local bar in downtown Windsor. From there on I met owners of different bars, started working for them on various nights and discovered there was actually some money to be made doing it. After spinning everything from an indie rock/british pop night to a classic rock night I find myself doing a steady Friday evening at a local bar called THE LOOP (Everyone who gets the chance should come and check it out). The music is a wide range consisting of 60's, motown, glam and punk rock from the 70's, 80's retro and new wave, indie rock from the 90's up until now, various electronic, underground hip hop and i've even added the occassional mash-up to throw the crowd off. Basically I try to keep it different then any other bar night which makes it very appreciated by true music lovers.Upon meeting me most people tend to think I am a snob for some reason, but I assure you it's only because I am the quiet type. Once I get to know you my goal is to make you laugh as much as possible. My sense of humor tends to get the best of me most of the time and within minutes of meeting someone for the first time i'll know if they can handle it or not. The effort to be the perfect friend is always there but obviously I can make mistakes. More times than usual I seem to always be the one with the free time to help friends out who need it, and I have absolutely no problems with that whatsoever. Most of the time I try not to expect anything in return but it can get difficult when it seems like no one is there for me. The easiest way to provoke me is when someone tells me that they are going to do something but don't end up following through with it at all. All I ask is that people have some respect and not make me feel like I am being walked all over.Other than music I am an enormous fan of film and art. In my spare time I enjoy making the trek over to Detroit to go see as many concerts as I can. It doesn't take much to make me happy... some good friends, a few pints, some great tunes and a dance floor will make me smile enormously.
