My name is Kristen. I was born and raised here in Charleston, SC. I'm a proud mother of 1 daughter. Lots of things have changed in my life and I thank God for them. He has saved me from a life of despair and lonliness. And even though I am single(for now), God has filled that emptiness in my heart. I really enjoy my life and I surround myself with those who want to serve the Lord. I never imagined that life could be this full. Jesus, truly is the only way to a fullfilled heart and life. No, that doesnt mean that everything goes the way you want it to. It just means that you have the peace that only God can give through the hardest of times. He can heal the deepest of pain. I know, because He has done it for me. Everyone's life is scarred to some degree, some much deeper than others but all can be healed. Trust in the Lord, give your heart and life to Him and you will be amazed at the transforming power in your life.
How can you have this power?
FIRST, Recognize that you are a sinner...Romans 3:23 "For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God.
SECOND, There is a price for sin...Romans 6:23 "For the wages of sin is death.."(This death is not a physical death but an eternal seperation from God for ever.)
THIRD, The price has been paid...Romans 6:23 continues "but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord."
FOURTH, Accept this gift...Romans 10:13 says "FOR WHOSOEVER SHALL CALL UPON THE NAME OF THE LORD, SHALL BE SAVED" That means anyone, anywhere, no matter how sinful, no matter how wretched. The word shall is a promise, God's promise to us. All you have to do is accept this free gift. New life begins when you ask Him for his forgiveness for your sins, to turn away from your old life and accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior.
Its a choice...what will you decide? Accept Him, or reject Him.
I'm eternally grateful to the person who took the time to share with me how I could know how to get to Heaven when I die and to know my Savior. My prayer is your life can be changed as well. God Bless You.
