THIS IT THE OFFICIAL MY SPACE PROFILE for the Emmy award-winning Freaks And Geeks, which debuted on NBC on September 25, 1999. Freaks And Geeks looked at the trials and tribulations of outsiders in a Michigan high school, circa 1980. Despite universal critical acclaim, the show was cancelled after only 12 episodes. But thanks to a groundswell of demand from an ever-growing legion of devotees, Freaks And Geeks finally arrived on DVD in 2004 - in its original form, including all of the original music.
The show's producer, Judd Apatow, went on to produce such smash feature films as The 40-Year-Old Virgin and Anchorman, and the show's creator, Paul Feig, directed multiple episodes of "The Office", "Arrested Development", "Weeds" (one episode), and the features "I Am David" and "Unaccompanied Minors". He's also written two books: "Kick Me: Adventures in Adolescence", and
"Superstud: Or How I Became a 24-Year-Old Virgin".
The show's stars, including Seth Rogen, James Franco and Linda Cardellini have all continued with successful acting careers.
