Recoil (Split Up - 2007)

About Me

MyGen Profile Generator Recoil formed over the space of a few months in mid 2005 when Paul, Graeme and Alan decided to recruit two other musicians to their three piece band to make it complete. Anthony joined to take become the second part of Recoil's fierce guitar duo and Ross was brought in to put powerful lyrics and anthemic choruses on top of the music. Recoil was born.
After only a few months of gigging Recoil had become hugely acclaimed in their hometown and built up a small army of fans. Going from the Soundhaus and Crystals to the Cathouse and Ivory Blacks in only 4 months shows Recoil's determination to get to the top.
Recoil has not been without it's problems and in September 2006 it looked like the band was over. After 7 months or so of nothing, Recoil reformed on St Patricks Day 2007 over a Guiness or five and played one last time at Vertigo in May 2007 as part of a benefit concert organised by bassist Alan. Unfortunately it couldn't last and Recoil went their seperate ways that summer.
Here are Anthony's and Paul's new bands:
Paul:
Anthony: Glory By Fire
And here's the company Alan works for: The PUEBLO Project
Hope you enjoyed us as much as we enjoyed ourselves.
