And They Called Her The Queen
And they called her the queen
That beautiful woman
With a head on her shoulders
And the world at her feet
They called her the queen
That beautiful woman
Who cried in secret
Feelng no love
Or even the joy of life
That beautiful woman
Who dreamed of her soulmate
But feared
In her heart
He would never come
That woman who died
A little more each day
As she overflowed with
Pain, sorrow, and heartache
That woman who woke each morning
And put on her beautiful face
Set aside her pain
And looking down on the world
She smiled
That beautiful woman
Whose truth nobody knew
And they called her the queen
My heroes are my quotes. Quotes bring me to a place that nothing else can. That place may be happy or sad. Either way, these quotes are special to me. I share them with others hoping that the quotes do for others what they do for me. The following are my favorites, written by both myself and others. Many of these quotations have been used in my poetry; writing that is very dear to me. I don't like to share my poetry, but I want to share these lines with the world.
