The Great Divorce is a new up-and-coming band based out of
Midland/Odessa, TX. TGD prides themselves in creating catchy,
raw rock music characterized by dark undertones and melodic riffs. TGD is also
known to have one of the best shows around, and is quickly
becoming a staple of the Permian Basin music scene. To date,
TGD has toured Texas, and has played many shows in surrounding states,
and shared the stage with such bands as Lydia, A Heartwell Ending, Divide the Day,
Memphis May Fire, A Day to Remember, Four Year Strong, the Umbrellas, Zookeeper,
Enter the Collector, In Fear and Faith, Take The Crown, Nevea Tears, Her Candane, Volia, Crimson Soul,
A Road Less Traveled, and Kingston Falls.
TGD has also played several shows which have benefited charities, including Invisible Children.
