I'm born in August 1986 in a little city near Ghent, Belgium.
In an era where house and techno began to florish here in Europe, I got fascinated by all sorts of electronic dance music.
While exploring all these different styles of music at parties, I fell in love with a "new" born genre something in between of house and techno, called minimal/tech house. I do not like to think in genres but you have to define yourself someway.
I started DJ-ing in 2002 when I was 16 on a rather inaccurate mp3-controller system and an unreliable laptop.
I couldn't play at parties because of my inaccurate system and 2 years later, I bought turntables and my first vinyl.
The past 5 years I've collected more than 500 records/albums untill I got inerested in a more accurate mp3 controller system.
End of August 09 I bought a macbook and Traktor Scratch Pro to go digital again and still have the vinyl touch. (with vinyl control)
I started playing at some local parties and now I play once a month in JC Den Orbit.
I've also played in Decadance (Ghent) 2 times, once in visa (Ghentto Blaster) and once in zanzibar (Minibox) .
I also organise a mnml/tech house party "MUZZIK FIRST" (with my good friend ''DJ Trash'') twice a year with the better Belgian house/techno dj's.
Prinz, Spacid, Seba Lecompte, Tom Dazing and Josh Lasden to name a few.
When you hear me playing, you can expect a mix of funky minimal/techhouse. Appending to mood or crowd, I can play a little deeper or crank it up a notch. After all, it's all about having a good time and make the crowd go wild !
CYANIC MUSIC
In 2006, I started to make some music with Propellerhead Reason and last year he bought a Korg Kontrol 49 midi controller.
He's made a lot of progress the last 3 years and his music is starting to get shape. He hopes to keep progressing that much in the future and create quality music.
