About Me

You have to know me to truly know me. What is seen on the outside is completely different than the inside. And only the ones who love me and take the time to get to know me, know who Keri really is.I have 2 children and 3 step children,(and 1 rescue child; you know, like you would rescue an animal from the Humane Society LOL he appeared at my door one day, his name is Kyle, he's a US Marine now, so I don't get to see him as much as I would like), All boys thank God because I don't think I could handle girls. I'm over protective enough with my sons, I would've drove a daughter absolutely crazy LOL! I love family, it's the most important thing in life to me.I love seeing someone smile a sincere smile. I love making people feel happiness. I love helping someone conquer a goal or make a change for the better. I accept that people really don't know who I am unless they take the time to look deep inside. I accept that people misread me and my intentions. I accept that people can hurt me when I'm trying to help them, because in the long run, they usually see that I was just trying to be helpful and sometimes the truth really hurts. I abhor lying, if you're a liar, I will probably not give you the time of day. If someone lies, I can't help them. If someone tells me the truth, we can always go from there and fix/save a situation from being worse. If you tell me the truth, I never doubt you, but if you lie to me, I'll never trust or believe you. I'm very black/white on that issue, I don't bend at all.I love smells, I'm kinda weird that way, I smell everything!I'm sick quite often so I don't get many moments of joy, and that's hard on me. Summer is easier though, so when I feel good, I love the outdoors, fishing, swimming, gardening, hunting.I love to finish a project and see the end result, I love painting and redecorating and most recently, building birdhouses. I love my husband, I love it when he's happy and carefree. I love to see people act goofy and feel comfortable doing it. I love watching people try new things.

I'd like to meet:



 

First and Foremost, I'd love to meet Jesus in his human form, but I know I would be on my knees with my face buried, full of shame. But I also know He would forgive me. 
I would also like to meet a man that I knew in the nursing home that I worked in for several years.  He was 82 then and had Alzheimer's. I would have loved to meet him earlier in his life, he seemed so full of life and intelligence, very dignified.  RIP Lincoln, I think of you often...
I'd love to meet Hugh Laurie (as House), he is so handsome and I love his personality.

My Wish for My Children...

This is truly "My wish for my children". I pray that they have the self esteem, courage, strength, and perseverance to make the most of their lives.  And I hope that they trust in their Lord to comfort and protect them and supply their needs in this life...
