My Interests

Music:

Band Website: http://www.thegrandarmyband.com
Band Members: tobias j. archer
Influences: perhaps too numerous to name, but we're up for trying. indie stuff like guided by voices, pavement, and dinosaur jr. garage rock like archers of loaf, the replacements and weezer. straight-up american songwriting like neil young, jeff buckley, bruce springsteen, tom petty and bob dylan. the entire british invasion, particularly the beatles, bowie, and zeppelin. we hold this truth to be self-evident; that the late seventies, and most especially joy division are woefully underrated.
Sounds Like: eric bachman, paul westerberg, steven malkmus, paul mccartney and john bonham rolling on ecstasy.
Record Label: Unsigned

look what i done!

ok, so many artists who i respect and admire greatly would never, ever post demos in the kind of infancy that the ones i have just posted are in.  to hell with it.  and dangling prepositions...

into the mix

the saint john's sessions have begun.  just wrapped a recording of eighty-sixed in which yours truly fell to pieces in the break.  guess i'll throw the fade before we get to it.  the se...
