PAL Humane Society is dedicated to:
The prevention of cruelty to animals by any reasonable means;
Reducing the severe pet overpopulation in our local community through education and the spaying and neutering of companion animals;
Providing love and health care to all animals entrusted to us until permanent loving homes are found;
Instilling respect for and appreciation for all living things.
We are a non-profit organization, which means our only funding comes from the generous donations of people like you. We are a non-profit organization, which means our only funding comes from the generous donations of people like you.
OUR PROGRAMS
PAL has 5 main programs:
Our Adoption Program, our Prison PALs Program, our Pet Connection Program, our Education Program, and our Volunteer Program.
ADOPTION PROGRAM
PAL Humane Society has a variety of dogs and cats available for adoption. To see our available animals, check out our Available Animals Album or go to www.palhumanesociety.org. Our dogs and cats are available for adoption at PetSmart in Victorville on Saturdays from 10am - 4pm (last addoption at 3:30).
PET CONNECTION PROGRAM
We offer veterinary care and pet food and supplies free of charge for qualifying seniors in our community. Volunteer route drivers deliver the food and supplies to senior's homes once a month. Most of the seniors on our program would be unable to keep their beloved pets if it weren't for this assistance.
EDUCATION PROGRAM
PAL Humane Society strongly believes that education is the answer to solving the problems the aniamls in our area are facing. We have educational presentations available for schools, clubs, churches, communtiy groups, etc. PAL also hosts educational events for children on the weekends and during school vacations.
VOLUNTEERS
Without volunteers, PAL would be unable to offer many of the services we offer to this communtiy. Volunteers assist with adoptions, the delivery food to seniors, socializing the animals, fostering animals within our program, office help, helping Offficer Troester on cases, and everyhting else that goes on around here.
OUR SERVICES
PAL offers a variety of services to the High Desert communities.
MISS KITTY'S BARKERY
WHAT IS A “BARKERY”?
A Barkery is a bakery for dogs and cats. Miss Kitty wanted to have a special place for her fur friends after she heard about the problems with packaged food and treats, so she asked her human friends at PAL (where she lives) to help her, thus iss Kitty’s Barkery.
Miss Kitty has her own private label. Only human-grade organic, natural and/or fresh ingredients are used in all of our products. Nothing is imported. All ingredients are made in the USA.
Miss Kitty carries treats for dogs and cats, birthday cakes, muffins, Solid Gold dog and cat food. Taste of the Wild dog and cat food, Pal Dog and Pal Kitty Organic shampoos, soothing creams and balms, and many other gifts such as mugs, treat jars, and t-shirts for your best friends.
Miss Kitty can plan a special birthday party, new pet party or a just because party for that special pet.
Oh yes!! She also has some treats for you too!!

I'd like to meet:

ANIMAL LOVERS, prospective adoptive parents, prospective foster parents, future "Friends of PAL", prospective volunteers, people against animal abuse, people who spred the word about PAL's community activities, people who believe in the importance of spay and neuter programs and legislation, and, of course, people who believe in giving shelter animals the love they deserve!
