WHAT: “Weapons Of Mass Production†SERIES PT 2, 16 man Hip-Hop beat production battle & auction.
WHERE: Pittsburgh Pennsylvania, Shadow Lounge Baum Bvld @ S.Highland., East Liberty 18 + over/21 to drink (proper id is required) $10 cover at the door, $7 with flyer
WHEN: Sunday May 13th, 2007 (last Sunday in March) doors open @ 8, show begins @ 9pm. Standing room only, this will be a packed house
Special guest performances
16 producers will go head to head, beat for beat, for CASH$$$$, prizes and world wide beat supremacy.
RULES: Each producer will get a minute a piece in a 2 minute round to destroy their opponent. Each level of the tournament will be a different category regarding the style of beat. Each producer will be judged on……
Originality: (Does the music sound different? Is it a fresh and new sound?).
Sequencing: (Is the workings of the beat smooth in its transition?).
Samples; (Is the samples sitting over the drums correctly? Does it fit?
Rockin: (Is the beat bangin?!Is it fire?!)
Auction ! Auction !: Every beat that will be played in the competition this evening will be up for sale. Each beat will be auctioned off @ the price of the producer.
