The Denver Browns are a semi-professional baseball team based in Denver, Colorado. The team was founded in 2007 by Gino Grasso. The Browns are made up of ex-college and professional players who still have a love for the game. The Browns finished 13-6 in 2007 and lost to the Colorado Reds in the semi-finals, falling short in their first season. In 2008 the Browns finished 13-6 losing in the first round of the playoffs to the Colorado Stars. The Denver Browns believe in more than just stepping on the field to compete. In 2008 the Browns held the first Denver Browns Kids Camp in the Five Points area in order to teach the game of baseball to inner city kids. The Browns also hold fundraising events throughout the season at local businesses who support the Browns financially. The first event was held at Three Dogs Tavern and in 2008 the Browns signed a partnership with Impulse Theater in Downtown Denver. Please come out and support local baseball in 2009 and stay tuned for upcoming schedule and events. Thank you for your support and hope to see you all in 2009.
