About Me

Born & bred in Mount Vernon, NY, and playing music since 4th grade, Jeff holds a BA in Music with a major in trumpet. Although currently performing as a professional bassist, Jeff has a very eclectic taste in music, including classical, jazz, rock, folk, country and avante garde improvisation. Jeff has played in jazz quintets, big bands, concert bands and orchestras, as well as numerous rock groups, and has played many of the Tri-state areas finest venues. The main projects Jeff has been involved in recently are: Brian Clayton & The Green River Band – Contemporary Country, The Mutt & Jeff Trio – Classic Rock & Rich York & Caneswitch - New Country with an old time atitude.. Jeff is also the regular fill in bass player for Nashville recording artist, Antsy McClain and The Trailer Park Troubadours, The Eric Clapton tribute band, The Bell Bottom Blues and the classic rock band Tie Dye. He is also available as a fill in bassist for your band. Jeff is a full time trumpet, bass and guitar instructor at the Monmouth Academy of Musical Arts in Marlboro, NJ.
