Sounds Like: I love playing differnt stiles in music. i am not defined in playing in only one kind of genre. i listen to all kinds of music, but prefer playing jazz/fusion or new age music. Jazz gives me the most freedom in playing guitar, it is always a big challange in improvising and phrasing and trying new harmonies. i always try to find a mixture of my idols and my own stile in making music, in this case it is always a challenge not to play stereotypes. One of my big influences in playing rhythm guitar is Jimi Hendrix, when i startet to play songs like "Little wing", "Bold as Love" or "Castles made of sand" it gave me a new horizon, for example using my thumb for the base line and at the same time having more freedom with "chord licks". For me it is always fun to combine these classic rock stiles with modern and complex jazz like harmonies. also i love the "off-beat-feeling" or the "bebop"-phrasing.

Hi everybody! a new album of mine will soon be out. I have tried lots of new sounds. For example I have worked mostly with vintage guitar sounds. Regards from Steven
