Bravo Jaguar

About Me

Bravo Jaguar is a Norwegian rock band situated southeast in the city of Kongsvinger. They started out in mid-2007 when former Olga members Ole Bekkelund (guitar, vocals) and Stein Erik Svendheim (drums) went out to start a new band project. Armed with a couple of licks and a change in focus and approach, they were soon rejoined by former Olga guitarist Patrick Scantlebury, and later on newfound bassist Tom Lyngaas Holsæter. The band's style is best -- and easiest -- described as "rock", although there are many other genres involved in the overall style spanning the different songs. Elements of blues, folk and pop and influences including Dire Straits, Pink Floyd and R.E.M. come together to give Bravo Jaguar its own unique sound and style.
There have been no recordings or live gigs as of this time, as the band focuses on finishing up and polishing the remaining tunes, but plans have been made to start demo recordings during early 2008, so stay tuned!
