This very special thank you goes out to all of our MySpace peeps – without you none of this would have been possible! Actually, without you Streetz would have never existed. We built Streetz for you! So, to all of our frequent visitors who dropped by just to show some love, to everyone that sent us a message only to say “What’s up?†and to all of our fans who’ve enjoyed our music – THANK YOU! MySpace is filled with the best Indie supporters on the planet!
Over the past year, Legacy Streetz has grown exponentially. From a mere thought in our minds to more than 100,000 plays and 50,000 profile views! The buzz on the street has been tremendous, and the reception for i.e., our feature artist, has been overwhelming. I.e. lived at the top of the Hip Hop MySpace charts for the state of Virginia. For months, the love for “Truth is Found,†his debut album, grew beyond what we’ve ever expected. Unfortunately, it has grown us so fast that we’ve outgrown ourselves!
Yes, it’s true, we are shutting the doors on Legacy Streetz. I.e.’s success has led him to a distribution deal with Black Ink/Universal. At the end of April 2009, we will hand him over and will work our Streetz resources through his new label.
Don’t worry, i.e. Music, Merch, and News will all still be available on i.e.’s MySpace page at www.MySpace.com/iethaalliance. Keep checking back for updates! There will be a complete restructuring of our entire regime, so be on the lookout for some new companies, as well as new alliances forming! This is an exciting time for all of us and once again, we owe it all to you.
