About Me

I like what I like and I don't care if the general public thinks I'm lame. I find cheesy horror movies just as awesome as musicals. My taste in music goes from classic rock to punk to hair metal to soft rock but I hate jam bands. I love to be outside and enjoy the outdoors but I dont get to do it half as much as I would like. Chicago will always be in my heart but now Marquette is my vacation land where I live... I have fantastic friends who have been there for me rain and shine, in Chicago, Racine, and Marquette... Plus I like coffee.....

My Interests

Concerts: punk, metal...almost all rock. Hockey: AHL Chicago Wolves, Now NMU college hockey games Hanging with friends is a top priority, could be ice skating and dinner, catching a movie or sitting on the street corner watching the people go by. I love to hike around in the woods, even in the snow, then you can have a snow ball fight...My friends are super goofy!

I'd like to meet:

"You like coffee? Can we drink some together? A sort of pre-date. Very casual, no strings, no obligations. We'll just see if it's even worth going down the road of including food in the deal. Just coffee." People who don't judge, people that don't hate their lives and try to bring down everyone with them. Someone who wants Halloween on Christmas too and understands the fun of setting up the Christmas Tree in July just for kicks. Someone who likes to drink coffee and hang out. Who will play board games til 4 am, and at least respects that I love Gilmore Girls and Bryan Adams. Someone to sit on the sidewalk with and watch the people go by, then go to the beach at night and watch the stars. People who dont mind walking around town for a few hours kicking a stone and talking about the future of that stones life. I want to meet Eric Szmanda's character Greg Sanders on CSI... I love quirks! and Milo Ventimiglia's character Jess on Gilmore Girls... the bad boy that loves literature and punk rock... what more could you ask for in one package?And these teddy bears ...

anything from punk to soft rock, metal to whatever... New music Ive just gotten into: Jack Off Jill, Bif Naked, HelloGoodBye, Harley Poe, Early November, Avenged Sevenfold, She Wants Revenge, The Smiths... Some faves, Lucky Boys Confusion, Eminem, Mustard Plug, Five Iron Frenzy, Me First and the Gimme Gimmies, Rancid, Skid Row, Bon Jovi, The Vandals, Our Lady Peace, Get up Kids, Linkin Park, Social D., Richard Marx, Bryan Adams, My Chemical Romance, Good Charlotte, Brand New, 2 Skinnee Js, Misfits.... My two fave men... dreamy....

Movies:

Just watched all 3 X-men movies.. Love them! Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, GREAT MOVIE! Miracle... even though its a hockey movie its really inspirational! Cabin Fever, 28 days later, lotr trilogy, garage days, xx xy, and honorable mention to FUBAR. American Psycho, Pee Wee, Bill and Ted, Final Destination, Ghost Busters, What about Bob, Kissing Jessica Stein, Waynes World, Heathers... Any movie with Elijha Wood...Love horror movies and 80s stuff... And to anyone that saw the 'new' Dawn of the Dead... were those really ZOMBIES? Zombies cannot RUN!!! Didnt the director know that little fact?? Wolverine has always been my favorite! I want to meet Wolverine's character from X-men..

usually stay away from tv but i do enjoy CSI Las Vegas... I love Greg! Im a sucker for Gilmore Girls and own 6 seasons on DVD.

Books:

Right now reading World War Z, the oral history of the zombie war. The Angel of Darkness by Caleb Carr... its somewhat a sequal to ' The Alienist' and if you havent read that... go get it. all about serial killers. Virgin Suicides. I got a library card for this town... I'm becoming a townie... "The kind of confusion an angry cow feels when its been smacked in the forehead with a shovel"
