FELINE MELINDA wird in den 80ern von Rob Irbiz (Gesang, Gitarre) und Andy De Santis (Gesang, Bass) gegründet. 1988 wird die legendäre und heute in Sammlerkreisen hoch geschätzte und quotierte LP "The Felines Await You" veröffentlicht. Von den anfangs schnelleren und heavylastigeren Aufnahmen entwickelt sich die Band - auch Dank des neuen und ambitionierten Schlagzeugers Chris Platzer - zunehmend in Richtung melodischem Metal Rock. Im Jahr 1995 folgt die Maxi-CD "Living In Europe". 2004 erscheint die CD "Feline Melinda" mit einem schlicht gehaltenen, aber zugleich elegantem Cover: das Band-Emblem in Silber, gedruckt auf schwarzem Hintergrund. Das Werk repräsentiert die Höhepunkte der Band in all den Jahren ihres Bestehens. Nach Jahren fruchtbarer und kreativer Zusammenarbeit verlässt Andy De Santis im September des selben Jahres die Band. Mit seinem Nachfolger Gschnell widmet sich die Band neben melodischen Balladen wieder vermehrt kraftvollen Rock-Songs. Aus der Feder von Rob Irbiz und den Arrangements von Chris Platzer entsteht das neue Repertoire. Die positive Resonanz beim Publikum und bei den Medien spornt die Gruppe an, über ein neues Album nachzudenken, wobei im Herbst/Winter 2005 die Arbeiten für das neue Werk beginnen. Im Zeitraum von zwei Jahren entsteht das neue Album: von Mid-tempo und schnelleren Songs, Metal-Balladen, bis hin zu einer akustischen Mainstream-Ballade und eines Instrumentalintros enthält es alles, was das Herz eines Metalfans begehrt. Die Aufnahmen im legendären Z.E.M. Studio in Bozen/Südtirol/Italien, abgemischt von Bobby Altvater im Sky Studio in Taufkirchen/Deutschland und das Mastering von Mika Jussila in den Finnvox Studios in Helsinki/Finnland, geben der neuen Produktion ein internationales Flair. Die Vermarktung und der Vertrieb des neuen Albums "Morning Dew" erfolgen durch das italienische Metal-Label "My Graveyard Productions". Der neue Tonträger ist bereits seit 14. Negli anni 80 Rob Irbiz (voce, chitarra) e Andy De Santis (voce, basso) fondano i FELINE MELINDA. 1988 viene pubblicato il leggendario e da parte dei collezionisti molto ricercato LP "The Felines Await You". Dai pezzi d'esordio veloci e potenti, la band si evolve - grazie anche all'entrata nel gruppo del nuovo e ambizioso batterista Chris Platzer - sempre più verso un metal rock melodico. Nel 1995 segue l'EP-CD "Living In Europe". 2004 è l'anno di pubblicazione del CD "Feline Melinda", dalla copertina semplice ed elegante: l'emblema del gruppo color argento stampato su sfondo nero. L'album rappresenta il meglio del repertorio del gruppo dall'anno della fondazione dello stesso. Dopo anni di collaborazione fertile e creativa Andy De Santis nel settembre dello stesso anno lascia la band. Con il suo successore Gschnell la band, oltre alle ballate melodiche, si dedica nuovamente a rock songs potenti. Dalle composizioni di Rob Irbiz e gli arrangiamenti di Chris Platzer nasce un nuovo repertorio. La risposta positiva del pubblico e dei mass media incoraggia il gruppo a pensare alla pubblicazione di un nuovo album, e nel periodo autunno/inverno 2005 iniziano i lavori per il nuovo CD. Nell'arco di due anni viene prodotto il nuovo album: dalle mid-tempo songs alle canzoni più speed, due metal-ballads melodiche, un lento tipicamente mainstream con chitarre acustiche ad un intro strumentale, il nuovo lavoro contiene tutto quanto serve a far battere forte il cuore di un metallaro. Le registrazioni effettuate nel leggendario Studio Z.E.M. di Bolzano/Sudtirolo/Italia, il missaggio di Bobby Altvater nello Sky Studio di Taufkirchen/Germania ed il mastering finale ad opera di Mika Jussila negli Finnvox Studio di Helsinki/Finlandia, danno alla produzione un tocco internazionale. Promozione e distribuzione sono invece a cura della label metal italiana "My Graveyard Productions". From the more speedier and heavy recordings, the band develop into high metal melodic rock thanks to the new and ambitious drummer, Chris Platzer, too. The EP-CD "Living In Europe" follows in 1995. 2004 is the year of publication of "Feline Melinda", the album which features a simply, elegant cover: the silver emblem of the band on a black background. It represents the creativity of the band throughout all the years. After years of fertile and creative cooperation Andy De Santis in September of the same year leaves the band. With his successor Gschnell the band dedicates again more attention to powerful rock songs without missing their vein for melodic ballads. Written by Rob Irbiz and with the arrangements of Chris Platzer, the band creates a new repertoire- In answer to the audience and the media, the band thinks about publication of a new album and in autumn/winter 2005 starts with the project. Within two years the tracks have been recorded during several weeks and lots of studio sessions. The new project includes everything the heart of a metal fan desire: mid-tempo and speed songs, two metal ballads, an acoustic mainstream-ballad and an instrumental introduction. Thanks to the recordings made at the legendary Z.E.M.
