Okay...really? About me. I've been wanting to do a whole story, but, one of my character traits is procrastination. SO...I thought that I would just roll with it and do it. Starting from earliest memotries to latest. Will be random thoughts, but, thoughts and experiences and memories, none the less.~I was adopted at 3 weeks old...Thought it was 9 weeks...have you read my blog? ~Original name was Barry... ~Ran over our own dog, Rags, and buried him in the backyard... ~KINDERGARTEN ~Took the bus to and from school...Benjamin Rush Elementary... ~Fell in love with the girl in the Cowgirl outfit, Shari Rolfes... ~Learned about the paper-cut by sliding the edge of a piece of paper across the bridge of my nose... ~Found my first best friend, Dusty Dial, he called me Shorty, and the friendship lasted until at least 5th grade. We were tight... ~Had a make-out contest on the way home on the bus with Me and Shari(see above) and Dusty and Kim Delaney... ~Don't remember who won... ~Started playing soccer with the Lake Washington Junior Soccer Association. I was on the 'Bobcats' and my coach was Harold Reynolds... ~1st GRADE ~Took the bus to school, but, walked home... ~Was in TOTAL love with my teacher, Ms. Shensky... ~Had a plan to whisper a secret into her ear and instead give her a kiss on the cheek...golden plan....never happened... ~Kicked a girl(Tammy Smith), at recess, got in trouble, felt horrible, never have I touched a girl in an angry way again... ~Wore a jumpsuit with the Sesame Street characters on it, that I cried, kicked, and begged my parents to buy me...wore it once and never again... ~Learned I was leaving Benjamin Rush and transferring to Ben Franklin at the start of my second grade year... ~Still playing on The Bobcats... ~2nd Grade ~Took the bus to and from school again... ~Ms. Toyogi was my teacher the first part of the year, but left to have a baby and Ms. Henry to over... ~Still on The Bobcats... ~Don't remember much about this year of life... ~3rd Grade ~Ms. Gerken was my teacher... ~Keri Mix was my crush, and that lasted aaaallll the way through elementary.... ~Discovered some of the 'fritos' in my lunches looked like sleds... ~Still on The Bobcats... ~4th Grade ~Was in a 4/5 Grade combination class with Mrs. Nakagawa... ~Was is a love triangle with Kimberley Delaney and Julie Morgan... ~Had the hots for Dana Hayes, though... ~Keri, still untouchable... ~Todd Davis and I became pretty good friends... ~Decided to play the drums... ~Craig Novics(sp)...sometimes cool, sometimes a dick... ~Still on the Bobcats ~5th Grade ~Mr Perrigo, the teacher my Mom did NOT want me to get... ~Discovered a NEW best friend, Tyler Kopet... ~~Wiffle Ball World Series alternateing betwen back yards... ~~Wanting to go to his house JUST to play Space Invaders on his Atari... ~~Having the hots for one of his little sisters, Heather...(His Mom was hot, too) ~Got busted for chewing gum in class...petty, but, the way Mr Perrigo handeled it pisses me off to this day! ~Got into a fist fight with my other best friend, Todd, over a basketball at the end of recess...said he wasn't going to nark, but, he did... ~Keri Mix...asked me once in the gym as she stands in line behind me, 'didn't you wear that shirt yesterday?' I said yes, she said gross, and never have I done that again, I SWEAR! ~Still on the Bobcats... ~6th Grade ~Mrs. Matson was my teacher from HELL... ~I went up to her desk to ask a question, she poked me right in the belly button(in-ey) and it sent a volt of electricity right to the head of my penis! OUCH! WTF? ~Asked Tina Turner(her real name, anyone remember?) to be my square dance partner...discovered how DRY hands can be...gross... ~Watched Tyler take on Jeff Wright(Lillaburg) in the back yard of someones house just to be broken up and kicked out...was entertaning for a few... ~Dana Hayes broke up with Barry Davis and was pressured into asking her to be my girlfriend....she was to hot, couldn't do it.... ~Thought Jacob Johnston was the COOLEST because his wide leg pants covered his WHOLE shoe... ~Ran for student council Vice President...I won! ~~Shari Rolfes, my kindergarten lust was President... ~Learned what a blowjob was...oooh, gross, why would a girl do that? little did I know! ~My new neighbor and eventually best friend moved in next door, Dave Roach... ~Still on the Bobcats... ~7th Grade ~New school...new meat(yeah, cuz I was a playa...)...Saw my 'Super-Chick'...Sundi Strietzel ~After a couple of months correspondance with a T.A., found out that Sundi 'would' like me to ask her out...' ~I finally found the courage and asked, 'Sundi, will you go out with me?' She said YES! ~She was in my homeroom class, her locker was about 6 or 7 down from mine and the ONLY time I talked to her was ON THE PHONE! ~Pathetic! ~Eventually, while talking to her on the phone, she said she had heard that the only reason I was going with her was so that I could get POPULAR! ~I broke up with her that night...'twas NOT true! ~Got high for the first time with Marc McClure and Dana Weitz...WHOA! ~Met and started getting to know Todd Green... ~Jazz Lab band is where I found the best drummer in the world...Todd! ~Still on the Bobcats ~8th Grade ~Seriously? I don't remember much... ~Summer after 8th grade... ~Summer Jazz Camp in Leavenworth, Mountain Home Lodge...Oh MY! ~Smokin' at the lower rehearsal space late at night, seeing someone comin' down and runnin' for the bushes... ~DON'T MOVE...Damn mosquitos...bite,bite,bite... ~Robbin' the Water Slide Park of many snacks... ~Hearing a bear grunt for the first time, scared the hell outta me, 'twas close... ~Still on the Bobcats... ~9th Grade ~Gary Evans had left Rose Hill Junior High and moved on to Lake Washington High...DAMN! ~Tom Wilson was the NEW Jazz(band) instructor... ~Jazz retreats and Poulsbo Jazz Festival. First time Rose Hill had lost that festival in many years. ~Missy Falkin was my new interest. ~Got caught chewin' tobacco. KODIAK! Suspended... ~'Slumber' party at Lance Timmermans. Snuck out of the house, went thrashin! No-Doz and weed don't mix... ~Stole MAJOR goods from the 'student store' the next morning(Saturday) during a Wind Ensemble practice... ~Got ratted on and busted and suspended. ~High School ~Honestly people, these years are really a blur...AND THAT SUCKS! My memories of High School are going to be all run together. ~Holy SHIT! Polly Belleville! I drooled over the thought of her for the next 3 years! It took me until my senior year to talk to her. Got to know her little sister, Amy, at a river rafting trip with Overlake Christian Church Youth Group. ~Hated High School! Loved skipping classes and seeing the teachers during lunch. ~Tried acid for the first time, at home, by myself, and started laughing at the local news. ~Finally aquired my Dad's 1969 Camero. Put it into a pole on State Street in Kirkland, April 30th, 1988. Damn, I LOVED that car. POST High School ~Disneyland with the Bellevue High School Jazz Band(they needed a bassist and came callin') ~Two hits of acid while having freetime going on rides at Disneyland WHOOAAAA! (don't do drugs, drugs are bad...um-kay?) ~Flew back early to audition for 'Soundsation'(vocal jazz choir) at Edmonds Community College. ~Got into a cover band with my best bud, Todd, called Gemini Sky. ~Played one show in Seattle at a bar while we were underage. ~Enrolled at EdCC taking Soundsation, Jazz band, Music improv., and Music Theory. ~Met Scott Bensen at EdCC and he introduced me to Alice in Chains and Mother Love Bone, LIVE AT Oz in Seattle(last I heard it was DV8). ~Met Lisa Frost(sound tech for Soundsation) whose boyfriend was a singer in Soundsation. ~She liked me, I moved in and he moved out after finding us naked together. ~He moved back in, was okay with it(I know, very weird), Lisa and I were dating but the ex thought they were still an item. ~Got into a fight with the ex at a New Years Eve party(Dec. 31-Jan. 1, '89). ~The ex came to class with a black eye. Everyone knew what happened and who did it. ~Got re-aquainted with a 'church friend', Lori Lee. She had a 5 month old baby boy. ~TOM LEYKIS!! WHERE WERE YOU? ~The beginning of my life dating single mothers! AAAAAaaaaahhhhhhhhh! ~ ~I have much more to go...do you really wanna know?
