Hood Ambition

VERBAL KENT (Spade Montana as he likes to be called) grew up in one of the tougest neighborhoods in Chicago, the Englewood area. A community known for its violent gang and drug activity there wasnt very many options for a young black male. Instead of falling victim to his environment Spade channels his frustrations with society through his music. The cold, lonely and aggressive feeling of the hood still echoes throughout his most intricate works of art.
