About Me

I'm a struggling writer.... Well, I would be, if I had any ambition. Technically, it's a disaster to be as lazy as I am in my chosen profession (Journalism) but I'm sure my survival instincts will kick in once I'm broke and living under Theodor-Heuss BrÃ¼cke (you know it). Okay, so that sounds really dramatic but in a nutshell, it's true. Yeah, other than that I love movies, my friends, my family, good food and pretty stuff.

My Interests

Movies, Literature, spending time with my friends, the usual stuff!

I'd like to meet:

Tom Wolfe because he's the man. Hunter Thompson because he's a legend. Jake Gyllenhaal because he's really hot.

Music:

Umm, I like crappy music. And I'm proud of it.

Movies:

Dogma, The Breakfast Club, American History X, Breakfast at Tiffany's, Some Like It Hot, Habla Con Ella, Y Tu Mama Tambien, Love Actually, naturally Dirty Dancing, Austin Powers 2 & 3 (I love Goooold...), Volver, Casino Royale, Little Miss Sunshine, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory and about a million more.

Television:

Six Feet Under, Gilmore Girls, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, CSI, The Simpsons... Basically any glossy, American-produced show. I like the pretty colours.

Books:

Harry Potter (especially Azkaban, Order and Prince), The Outsiders, To Kill A Mocking Bird, The Electric Kool-Aid Acid Test, His Dark Materials, The Bonfire of the Vanities, Hamlet, Lord of the Rings, stuff by Bret Easton Ellis and a few hundred others. I love books. Recommendations are welcome!

Heroes:

My friends and family, obviously. Other than that, I don't tend to idolise people, I just admire them. Or want to shtup them.
