Paulo Paulelli was born on 26 March, 1974, in São Paulo, Brazil.
He has received a good influence from his relatives, especially from his uncle Messias Santos Júnior, the partner of Chico Buarque and the arranger of João Gilberto.
Paulo Paulelli has worked as a professional bassist since the age of fifteen. Until now, Paulo has played with brilliant musicians, such as Ivan Lins, Chico Buarque, Toninho Horta, João Donato, Hermeto Pascoal, Danilo Caymmi, Maria Rita Mariano (the daughter of Elis Regina), Arturo Sandoval, Roberto Menescal, Fátima Guedes and many others.
Currently, Paulo is playing with Rosa Passos and has been with her for the past ten years. They have toured many countries throughout the world that include Norway, Denmark, Sweden, Spain, Japan and twice to the United States while touring in the United States, Paulo was given the opportunity to record and release the album "Me and my heart".
