First and foremost: I am a believer in the Lord Jesus Christ. Jesus is the way the truth and the life. I was not told to believe. I was not raised to believe. I believe in Jesus Christ because He gave His life for me and He gives my life a purpose. Because when I put him first in everything that I do, things change...people change. Once I knew, I could never go back to not knowing. We are responsible for everything we hear and Jesus was standing at the door to my heart. I let Him into my heart and nothing has been the same since. He has put me exactly where I'm needed and has been teaching me every step of the way. There is no turning back. Every day is a battle and a blessing and nothing and no one can be taken for granted. When you walk with Jesus, everyone is important, possessions are meaningless, and we are expected to become a fool in order to be wise. Knowing that the creator of the universe created and designed you for a special purpose, how can you turn your back on Christ and deny your calling? When Christ called, I answered..."I give myself to you, now and forever. Change me, forgive me, love me, use me."
God answers my prayers every day. When I prayed and put Him first as I was looking for a job, He blessed me and showed me exactly where He wanted me. When I asked Him to help me find a new apartment (once I was sure He wanted us to move) He showed us. My car was broken and God sent an amazing Christian man to fix it. My life is an ongoing conversation with God and I am learning to pray more and more...to pray without ceasing. I am learning that the more I pray, the more He answers.
God has blessed me with many gifts; I am a professional photographer, artist, musician, and jewelry maker. My husband and I make music for God in a band called Reality Eaters. All of the music is divinly inspired.
