At eleven years old, Exotic E was introduced to turntables by his soccer teammate, Mike B. They both began evolving in the art of spinning records at a very fast pace, skipping school many days, listening to early recordings of a noise they both learned to become known as "Scratching". As they both embraced this sound, practicing daily to learn they had become an element known today as "HIP-HOP".?Neither of us had planned to do this... it became so natural to both Mike B and I. We both loved and dedicated ourselves to this artform in which we were both so immersed in. We had improvised Equipment, I drove my bicycle almost everyday to Mike B's house to practice. I even used to ride my bicycle over to a mutual friend, DJ Cutmaster Crash's house, to watch him spin the artform in which I was hungry to learn. After many hours of practicing, one day Cutmaster Crash And Boy Wonder aka "The Whiz Kidz" pushed me into entering a lil' DJ Contest, known today as the DMC. In 1990 I won my first Dj Battle at the age of 15 in South Beach Miami @ a club called "Club New". I went on to win two more DMC Dj Competitions in the South East Region. After Winning my first DMC in 1990, I was introduced to DJ Steve D of the X-men crew by Diamond J. Bonding almost immediately, Steve D "CHOSE" me to be an original member of the world Famous X-MEN Crew, which later by commercialazation, became the "X-ecutioners", World Famous Turntablisim crew. As all things come 360, I am currently and always will be An "X-MEN" DJ.This page was made for all the fans that through all the years, loved to hear my scratching, whether it was watching my very first shows with "Jealous J" from "Cut It Up Def" Records, in which he launched my touring career, or DJ LAZ in which I have made many records with and done many shows with.
