Anyone (male or female) who is interested in sincere friendship. I have had quite enough of people who think friendship is only for what you can get from the other person and not about what you can give back, and of friends who don't think anything at all about backstabbing me and mine for their own gain. I am a good friend who gives as much as she gets, and is always there to listen and help as I can. I expect the same in return. And sorry fella's, I'm not interested in "hooking-up" or cybering or anything of that ilk. As I said, I am happily married, and would like to stay that way, so if that is what is on your agenda, keep 'er moving.
Ecclectic but mostly in the wide and vast rock genre. I tend to avoid all rap and a lot of country. Currently, favorite bands are Within Temptation, Nightwish, Lacuna Coil, Evanescence. However, I have been known to have everything from Alison Kraus and Union Station to Disturbed to LinKin Park, to SR-71, to Tracy Chapman, to Kermit the Frog (gotta love the Rainbow Connection song man!) playing at any giving time on Winamp.
All sorts spanning the gammit. Though, I generally avoid Westerns, and not all into War movies unless they are really good. Generally I go with Horror, a good action flick, or a good comedy. Drama is good, but I generally get done watching those looking like I just went to a funeral, so I try to stay away. I have enough problems with my head without needlessly stuffing it up from crying over a silly movie.
Everwood, Buffy and Angel (even if they aren't around anymore...I have the boxsets darnit!), Smallville, House, Supernatural, Bones, Grey's Anatomy, HGTV and DYI.
Stephen King, Dean Koontz, J.K Rowling, Robert McCammon, Faye Kellerman, Johnathon Kellerman, Robert Jordan, Anne McCaffery
The person who sets aside their wants, desires, and needs, for those of another person, whether that person is known to them or not. Hero's are made everyday, and are seldom known to anyone but the one person who they made the sacrifice for. Hero's don't do their good deeds for recognition. They don't do things to be thought of as hero's and would be embarassed by the attention. They do things out of the goodness of their hearts, because they see no other way they could do something and still be able to look at themselves in the mirror.
