About Me

When I'm not cleaning up the streets of Old Detroit from the scourge of rampant crime and drugs, you can find me eating baby food and practicing my marksmanship with this really awesome gun that I keep in my leg. Huh? What do you mean "that's not you"? Who is this "Robocop" you speak of?This space is forever dedicated to the memory of Evan Garfinkel. A proper tribute section is in the works. If you have pictures, stories, and video you'd like to share, feel free to send them. I will try and post as many as I can.Check out these shorts I wrote and produced for Heavy.com starring Ashy Larry (Donell Rawlings) of "Chapelle's Show" fame! We shot these over the course of a few days in the Hamptons. "Wine Tasting" and "A Day at the Beach" are currently down due to some "technical difficulties". You'll know when they're back up. Enjoy them, and if you have trouble with the link, you can always check them out at Heavy.com!.. Here is another show I'm producing and writing for Heavy.com called "The Burly Sports Show". Here is our Superbowl Special and last weeks episode. Don't forget, there is a new episode every Friday, but I'll try and post them here whenever I can.... More videos from the "Burly Sports Show" channel at Heavy.com

My Interests

Mocking Jeopardy contestants who answer incorrectly, movies, listening to the Rock n' Roll (it's big with the teenagers), The Ron and Fez Show (B.A.C. 23342), Ancient History, Yankee Baseball, leveling up, dotCOMedy, occasionally playing the guitar, name dropping, and people who actually read this stuff.

I'd like to meet:

Matt Roloff.

Music:

Currently listening to (in no particular order): New stuff from The White Stripes, Ted Leo and the Pharmacists, Dinosaur Jr., Nine Inch Nails, Sonic Youth, Amy Winehouse, the Arctic Monkeys, the Kaiser Chiefs, and The Beastie Boys. Not so new stuff from The Mars Volta, Boris, Coheed and Cambria, Death From Above 1979, Minibosses, Daft Punk, Wolfmother, Tenacious D, Buckethead,The Futureheads, and The Flaming Lips. Have always listed to: The Clash, The Who, Weezer, A Tribe Called Quest, Van Halen (strictly the David Lee Roth years), the Buzzcocks, the Ramones, the Misfits, the Replacements, Pavement, Nirvana, the Smiths, the Pixies, Elvis (only the Sun Records years), David Bowie, Guns N' Roses (mostly Appetite for Destruction), Iron Maiden, Marilyn Manson, and mother fuckin' Hall and Oates. There's more, but that's enough for now.

Movies:

Check out the Mondo Movie Podcast at: http://www.mondomovie.com/

Television:

It's Always Funny in Philadephia, South Park, Anything on the History channel that actually pertains to HISTORY (this is becoming a new pet peeve), the Kids in the Hall, 24, Heroes, Cosmos with Carl Sagan, Curb Your Enthusiasm, Rome, Little People Big World, Lost (but its seriously on probation after last season), Arrested Development, Meet the Press, Twin Peaks, etc.

Books:

CURRENTLY READING: I'll try and post a little review when I'm done.

Heroes:

GEORGE CARLIN - He's the man, and greatest comedian of all time! Orson Welles. Go and see "Touch of Evil" and then tell me I'm crazy. I challenge you! JULIUS CAESAR - He started one of the largest empires the world has ever seen. Last time I checked that's more than you've ever done. ANDY KAUFMAN - He's still alive. I know it. BUCKETHEAD - This one is pretty self explanitory. He grew up in a chicken coup and his face was scratched off by the chickens, yet somehow he over came all of that to become an amazing guitar player. That's damn admirable. RIC FLAIR - In order to be the man, you've got to beat the man. I don't have the kind of training to do that. Flair - 1, Maisto - 0.
