In 1993-94 Noid became one of "3" Six Mafia's top selling prospects. Jay "J" Houston was the producer and featured (LIL NOID) on every underground album that was released within one year period. In 1994-95 artist Noid then began to market his material under new production. He still used his talent to remain a trendsetter. He kept it fresh, cutting edge, and unique. From 1995-2002 the artist was incarcerated for seven years which was a third of his life. He experienced being incarcerated at five different prisons around the the likes of "Martin Luther King Jr.'s" convicted killer, James Earl Ray. In 2002 the artist was released and two weeks later he came in contact with "Pepper Mouth of the South", a well known connected manager to be featured on his artist's albums. The song became a success instantly and sparked the rebirth of a legend of Memphis underground music. Between the time of 2002-03 Noid released his own solo album entitled "Streets & Rap". The album gave the streets more than enough to enjoy but ironically the radio stations wouldn't acknowledge the albums presences. In 2003-04 Noid then was featured on "Blackout's" album. Which was the most broadcast album of an underground artist in Memphis, simply because it was actually advertised on BET for a few weeks. Noid acted as an extra in the movie filmed here in Memphis, "Hustle & Flow", while continuing promotion on the album "Streets & Rap". In the spring of 2005 a new album entitled "Pots & Panz" was released. One thousand copies of this new album have been sold throughout the city of Memphis. Although in the past years disc jockeys wouldn't play Noid's music a few stations came to the liking of his style from the release of "Pots & Panz". One of the disc jockeys at one of the top radio stations "Hot 107.1" and "98.9" put one of the songs on his mixed tape album of Memphis' hottest underground artist. Over fifteen thousand copies were placed in the hands of Memphis listeners.
