The video below is of a visit in the Spring 2006 semester from Maggie the wolf (courtesy of Project Wolf in Colorado and through the efforts of Cari on campus) to Whitman College. It was a great experience and several of us got to pet her (though that's not shown here). If you look hard, you can see me sitting raised with my knees on the ground towards the end of the video. Thanks to Emily for posting the video.

A brief explanation: I don't like horror movies and I'm sensitive to excessive brutal violence, the portrayal of extreme cruelty or needle use and I'm bored by war movies. Now if you like these things I'm completely fine with that and it won't affect our friendship one bit but I can't watch them with you. : -)
I don't really watch TV anymore. But some of my favorite shows back when I did were Law & Order (the original only), Star Trek: TNG and DS9, Biography, Inside the Actors Studio and Venture Brothers.
I'll update this more later but for starters...
Illusions by Richard Bach, The Hitchhiker's Guide to Galaxy by Douglas Adams, War and Peace by Tolstoy (I didn't enjoy the war parts actually), The Narnia Chronicle by C.S. Lewis
