It’s kind of weird finding out for the first time that you’re not all that good looking. I always thought that I was a good looking fella…because that’s what my grandma and my mom always told me, and they should know, they’ve been around a long time. It’s weird because no one ever tells you you’re not good looking, but that’s actually the way I found out that I’m not that attractive. At first, I thought girls just weren’t that complimentary towards guys. But the thing is, I hang out with attractive guys and they get told all the time by girls that they’re hott, and my poor ass never hears a word. I’m lucky to catch a smile when I say “how are you†to a girl that’s even descent looking herself! I’m not too mad though, what a personality I got…at least my mom tells me that too…but wow, I’m nice, I’m funny, I do good deeds… Hott girls are really hard to talk to anyway, what does a guy like me have that a hott girl needs? You know, you only have one chance to make this impression. Lately, I've been trying this new strategy that I call the compliment-to-push strategy. "Just thought you should know you're gorgeous," and walk away. Even if they try to say anything back, you just say, "that's it," and keep walking. I don't know what they think after that though, probably how exotic and mysterious I am...I assume. Procrastination is like masturbation to me, I am a regular at both of them. Yeah, it feels good while you're doing it, then you realize you just screwed yourself. Everyones so damn competitive these days. It's so bad that even attraction is a competitive. For instance, I think this one girl is so hott, solely because my friend does. Hell, before that I never looked twice at her until he mentioned her. Now I look at her...talk to her...sleep with her, everything. Awakward...I know. Goes the same with girls too, if you like a girl who's not acknowledging you, find out who she hangs out with. All it takes is the friend telling the main girl that you're really attractive and voila! All the sudden you're good in her book, or at least in due time you get to sleep with the friend. It's a dog eat dog world. Same as if a girl thinks you are hott, but her friends don't, it's gonna take a shitload of booze to even get blown by that one.
