More hard-hitting women's roller derby will hit Chicago as the Windy
City Rollers All-Stars host Baltimore's Charm City Roller Girls on
Saturday, August 29, 2009, at UIC Pavilion, located at 525 S. Racine
Ave. First whistle is at 7 p.m. The WCR All-Stars finished second at
the 2008 WFTDA (Women's Flat Track Derby Association) National
Tournament and are currently in first place in the WFTDA North Central
conference. Charm City has long been a contender on the national
flat-track roller derby scene and is currently ranked third in the
WFTDA Eastern conference.
