Tony Caracciolo was born in 1983 in the South-East of France between Avignon and Nimes. However he always lived in the region of Picardie in the North of france, an hour from Paris. Tony has always been in the music environment since the age of 4. He learnt Music at his home town Clermont de L’Oise Classical Music School and started learning Classical Percussions (which includes Timpani/Xylophone/Marimba/Vibraphone and Drums).
For 10 years, he won few Classical percussions awards and prizes reaching the Conservatoire level thanks to his private teacher and Master Jean Paul Barcelère. From 1990 to 2002, he gained musical experience between the Music school’s Harmonic orchestra (as leader Timpanist), covers band, Jazz Big Band, Pop/rock, Nu-Metal and Funk original bands. In 2002, after graduating High School, he decided to make career in the Music Industry and moved in London (UK). He studied a one-year diploma course at the well known Drumtech/Vocaltech and Guitar X Music School, one of the prestigious Music School in Europe where he increased his skills and knowledge in drums and Latin Percussions. He finished in the top 10 drummers of the year. He started a degree in Popular Music Performance straight after, in 2003 at the Thames Valley University and graduated in 2006 with awards. Since 2002 he has improved his skills and became very versatile adding studio sessions, composing and producing, teaching, and playing with Serious Lego Dancing Band and Batusamba (percussion ensemble).
