About Me
Born in Rome in 1970, he graduated with a Major in Computer Science with maximum grade and frequented the Information Technology University. He took classical studies of piano, harmony and composition under the supervision of the conservatory teacher Giorgio Spolverini. He focused on the analysis of pianistic and orchestral scores. Moreover, he studied jazz with Amedeo Tommasi focusing on composition, arranging and orchestration.
With the year he has developed playing skills of the electronic instruments world (synthesizers, samplers,virtual instruments,hard disk recording, sound programming, effects, etc.), adding those to the study and utilization of acoustic instruments and orchestra. Now he continues to study film scores by the best authors : John Williams, Thomas Newman, James Newton Howard, Hans Zimmer, Ryuichi Sakamoto,ecc, and he's studying the play technique of drums and some ethnic instruments (Udu, Daff, Frame Drums, Djembe, Duduk, Ney, Tin Whistle, Shakuhachi, Pipe, ecc) he use to obtain particular and fascinating sonic texture.
He has great experience in arranging, orchestrating , programming, composing for cinema, TV, and theatre. He collaborated for several years with composer Paolo Vivaldi, realizing together 40 soundtracks with Warner Bros, Emi, Buena Vista, RaiTrade, etc. , some of these are distributed worldwide. They realized many theatrical Italian works with some of the best Italian’s actors.
He has realized signature tune for many TV programs (SKY, RAI, LA7, etc) and recently has worked with the world famous Italian traditional music Master Renzo Arbore, helping him in arranging one signature tune ("Meno siamo meglio stiamo") for RAI TV.
He realized 13 sonorization CDs with Flipper Music, distributed and utilized worldwide, and orchestrations and arrangements for some Italian pop music's CDs , focusing on strings orchestration (Grazia Di Michele, Marco Conidi, Volume, Kyte, musical "Madre Teresa", etc).
He recently completed the soundtrack of the movie "SALVATORE-QUESTA E' LA VITA" produced by DISNEY and the soundtrack for the cinema brilliant comedy “SWEET SWEET MARJA†where it has worked as co-author with Paolo Vivaldi, orchestrator and programmer, and the TV MOVIE "Ovunque tu sia" and "Einstein" by Liliana Cavani, as co-author, arranger and programmer, presented at the Rome Fiction Festival.
He is writing the orchestrations and some original music for the charity show "IL CUORE OLTRE 2008", that will be played live by the "Orchestra Internazionale G.Tartini" (Will also partecipate at the show the Oscar rewarded Luis Bacalov).
His music is played worldwide on "The Essence Show" hosted by Kara Johnstad on some of the best webradio.
Currently he’s writing a musical (author and orchestrator) and is working at two soundtracks with Paolo Vivaldi for an italian Tv Movie ("Mal'aria") and for cinema ("La bella società " with Raul Bova and MariaGrazia Cucinotta).
Recently some his themes was played in concert by the exceptional acoustic trio Gilda Butta' (piano)-Luca Pincini (cello)-Paolo Zampini (flute) together with the best Morricone's themes whose they are the original performers.
