Fixed star of czech music scene and popular giude of yound people on night life in the middle Europe, DJ Pete Walk started his music carier in later 90’s and from year 1998 he became involved in top night clubs in capital and all around the country. Pete get born in north of Czech republic where he just only as normal visitor of dance parties looked up on DJs stars in these time. One of them was his very good mate which all the time explain to him everything so he changed Peter Prochazkas life.
Pete get his first important engagement in legendary club Radost FX, where have been playing „pioneers“ of czech dance scene DJs Loutka, Pavel Bidlo or the world well known names like Jim Masters and Corvin Dalek. I was a very successful parties named „Prozak“ which been hosted most of the world dance music stars. It didn’t take long time and Pete recived offer for production cooperation in neiborhood of Radost FX, in club Spiral. „Spiral was favourite club for those whose love after parties and working there gave me lots of important experience, so after few years i have relocated to club Industry 55 on Vinohradska Drive, where i promoted lots of great parties including very successful party called Basic. Party was build on original and genial mind, but after little while lost of promoters started to copy us. My successes point me to develop my own agencies: Moonlight Production and Trendmusic a I spread my activities all around Czech repulic. Exactly we made success of DJ Orbith in Prague a promoted lots of great parties“ says Pete.
His DJ star still raising up, Pete playing with Duncan Forbes and Nils Hess and in 2004 he’s got appearance with Judge Jules and he started reciving offers from top clubs like Mecca, Roxy, Duplex, Studio 54, Pekelnej Bar a Obcanska Plovarna.
„I love clubs and night life, but clubs are not only places where I appearancing. I’m reagulary visiting various radio stations, and also the mega summers festivals, the most interesting for me was Cosmic Trip 2007, where I have been activelly cooperating with Clear Vision agency,“ Pete ends.
After big „hall parties“ like in KC Karlov, Pete started prefer play with frinds and promoting protoject Amazing City with most expesive dj on world, Paul Oakenfold and he also continue residenting on party STEAM and trance party at Club MIND Retro, which played DJs: Alex Morph, Woody van Eyden, Sean Tyas, Kyau & Albert and more. Music which Pete plays we speciafy as very various style cross with elemaents of house, electro, progressive and trance. You can listen to his set by yourself, you’ll not be regret. At the same time Pete Walk for the third year involved in music production for the club Blue Bar at the Czech Ibiza – Machovo jezero, where also reap considerable success.
The first track, which Pete Walk created for project Rewalkers, together with the slovak music maker Eddie Sender, is called „Aliencity“, it was published on label Inspired. You can download it on a music server Beatport in a few remixes.
Currently, Pete Walk pays its own creation. Together with DJ Adam Cloud, Revis and Marshall are preparing a new sound. Their group bears the name of PROUD-M. Now preparing a number of innovations in the form of issuance of new tracks, on whichthey work very hard. First one of these tracks called My Weaknes is coming out in January 2010 under Unearthed Records.
PROUD-M is periodicall broadcast on the Dance Radio www.danceradio.cz the Revolution Club program called Proud Nation. Show is broadcast regularly on the second Monday of each month and enjoys a growing popularity. Dance Radio now runs its broadcast on 89.00 and 102.9 FM. .
