About Me
I've lived here in NW LA all my life, enjoying the benefits of a southern lifestyle, where my faith and my family are of utmost importance to me, and then my friends. My oh my, how important it is to keep these priorities in line! I had the absolute best parents in the whole world!!! I have been married almost 30 years to a wonderful man, and have three grown children whom I love with all my heart, and a little angel in heaven. I enjoy doing volunteer work in various capacities, as much as possible ~ when my health allows. I am most directly involved with the Marian Auxiliary of the Knights of Columbus, which does great work in so many areas, and the Society of St. Vincent de Paul. It's a beautiful way to help the less fortunate in numerous ways. Whenever possible I love attending Native American Powwows. I have a great admiration, love and respect for the Native American people and their way of life. Before my illnesses, I organized, promoted, advertised and held several powwows in the Ark-La-Tex area. I miss those precious friends and that part of my life tremendously! My work gathering donations and sending boxes of food, etc. for our Mighty Military has had to slow down, as well. But I have such a tremendous amount of honor, respect, and love for all of our troops! I believe we should support them in every way possible ~ and their families, also!! They truly are my HEROES!! I absolutely LOVE music and I must say, Ricky Lynn Gregg is the best, most talented entertainer I've ever seen or heard! And, I've been to many concerts! Ricky has such a beautiful charismatic spirit about him. Attending one of his high energy, awesome, music filled shows, and visiting with Ricky and the band members, who are all dear friends, has such a phenomenal healing affect on me! It's just absolutely amazing! If you get the opportunity, you owe it to yourself to take in at least one of his performances! You WILL go back for more! I've got to stay well enough to not miss him/them when he's here again. I've had to give up so much more, I won't even mention, but just know that if I had it my way, (remember, it's God's way) I'd still be doing for others as much as always! My family is my life, and, that is MOST important!! So, all in all, life is GREAT and God has me right where he wants me and I am so very blessed!!!
