What is a street team?
A street team is a group of fans working together to promote the band (Superbutt) in their area. These are the persons, who're going on the streets with flyers, ect. to get many people to know and love Superbutt.
A street team is NOT a means to meet the band or get free tickets to shows.
If your reason for wanting to join this street team is meeting Superbutt then please DO NOT sign up, as joining this team DOES NOT mean you get to meet the band.
What does this street team do?
The Superbutt streetteam is based, like every streetteam, on many different kind of promotional jobs. There will always be actions announced on the site, where you can join. The following are some examples of those jobs:
* Requesting songs/videos on your local radio-/tv-stations by phone/internet.
* Voting for Superbutt and/or their songs/videos on internet-polls/-charts.
* Spreading stickers/flyers to advertise the band among potential fans.
* Advertising Superbutt and/or their songs/videos on websites such as MySpace.
* Requesting articles about the band in your local magazines by internet/post.
* Checking the availability of Superbutt' releases at your local record stores.
*Requesting appearances of the band on your local tv-shows by internet/post.
*Posting about them in different internet forums, like nearly every one has an "other bands" thread.
We always give out some actions, where you can join. You don't have to do every one, you can choose which one. Just write your name into the topic in the forum or PM the streetteam leader. For every action you did, you can get points. Collect them, and we see how hard you're working. After you did something write a review about it, so we can be sure, you also did that. It's not the mean of a streetteam that we send you flyers, for example, and you leave them behind.
It's always better to be a smaller group of people, who are doing something, than a lot of, where no one does anything!
Of course the team members discuss these promotional activities within the team, so next to working for the band you might just make some (more) friends among your fellow-fans as well!
How do I join?
Adding the streetteam's myspace page DOES NOT mean, that you're automatically signed up. Please visit our forum (the website is under constructions at the moment), sign up there, and read the rules, they will tell you what to do.
