About Me

Well, where do I begin? I'm a 32 year old wife to a wonderful husband of almost 10 years and mother to two beautiful little girls, ages 7 1/2 and 9. I have a soon to be 14 year old step son as well. He lives with his Grandparents in Southern Ohio. I am a full time homemaker which is probably the most rewarding (and demanding) job I've ever had. I ♥ what I do, as there is simply nothing better than watching your children grow up and being there for them every step of the way. My girls have taught me so many things. They've become very good at reminding me how important it is to stay young, even if only at ♥ . The way that they've taught me how to truly ♥ from deep within is my absolute favorite lesson learned. Becoming a Mom has made me a better person in more ways than one. It's made me complete. It's also made me realize how precious life really is, and I've once again discovered what it's like to see the world through the eyes of a child. I've learned that I never want to grow up and I never want to grow old. I ♥ to laugh and make others laugh. Laughter is the best medicine and can cure almost any ailment. Who says that smile wrinkles are an unattractive and just another sign of aging? In my opinion, they simply make you beautiful. One day I hope to pursue a career in photography. Taking pictures is my passion. The one thing that I could not live without (besides my family) is my camera. I take it with me everywhere I go. My sense of humor, while sometimes off the wall and a little unpredictable is one of my greatest assets. I like to think that I'm good friend material. I'm a good listener and I don't mind lending a shoulder to cry on if and whenever necessarry. In general, my life has been anything but uneventful or ordinary. I've been though alot. I have quite a story to tell and I'm willing to share it with most anyone willing to listen. You live and learn and sometimes even through somebody elses mistakes. I'm a firm believer in and live by the motto, "what doesn't kill you makes you stronger". I'm pretty open minded for the most part. I'll try almost anything at least once. I can be shy at 1st but once you get to know me, and/or whenever I become comfortable with my surroundings, I'm a social butterfly. I don't care for change too much, however I'm pretty versatile and I adjust well to most situations. Theres nothing that I despise more than a liar, a theif, or a cheat. I don't have a whole lot of patience for ignorance either. Otherwise I'm not real difficult to please. I don't get offended easily and I'm pretty sure that I've been asked just about every question in the book. I belive in God but don't go to church, which in my opinion does not make me a bad Christian. Truth is, I haven't quite found a church that I'm comfortable in yet. As soon as I find it, I'll go, and if I never do ~ that will be okay too. I'm not perfect. I have my flaws, but I'm working on them. I try not to judge and I try to be fair even though I know that life isn't always. I'm not someone that you want to talk politics with, as I've never really been much good at debating that sort of thing. I can be opinionated at times, but I'm not one to sit around arguing a point until I'm blue in the face in order to convince someone to see things my way. Either we see eye to eye or we don't. Everyone is entitled to their opinion and unless you insult mine, I will respect yours. I'm (for lack of better term) pretty simple minded and I can be easily amused depending on my mood on any given day. I enjoy meeting new people and making new friends. If you find that we have a common interest or three, please feel free to drop me a friends request and I'll be happy to add you to my list. I'm looking forward to sharing my space with you. Thanks for stopping by. Have a great day.

I ♥ my husband and my kids, first and foremost. I ♥ thrift stores and garage sales!! Shopping in general is the best pastime ever!! (unless of course it's for groceries.) I ♥ photography and photo editing. When I grow up I wanna take pictures for a living rather than do it just for fun. A few other things that are up there on my favorites list: I ♥ music. I &hearts: swimming. I ♥ meeting new people, making new friends, and keeping up with the old. I ♥ my Mom and Dad. I ♥ my Brother, Robert. I ♥ my Sister in law, Marie and my new Niece, Grace Melodie. I ♥ my Nieces and Nephews: Brandon, Alexx, Christopher, and Jenna. I also ♥ the internet. As a family we ♥ doing things like go-karting, miniture golfing, bowling, catching a movie, going out to eat, camping, going to the beach, and/or going to Cedar Point. (for those of you who aren't familliar, Cedar Point is an ammusement park located on Lake Erie here in Ohio.) I ♥ birds. I'm the proud Mama to three. A cockatiel pair and a blue crowned conure. I ♥ my doggie, Incense. She's a 35 pound shepard mix that ♥'s attention. There are pictures here on my profile of all of them. Please take a moment to check them out, you wont be disappointed.

I'd like to meet:

Since there isn't really a designated space for this, I will include it here.. If and when I find the time, I ♥ to sit down and type up blog entries on my other My Space account. Sometimes it just feels good to kick back, put your whole days (good or bad) worth of events on "paper" which makes it a little easier to put things into perspective. It's relaxing and it usually gives me something to do to occupy my already overactive mind.. Even if only for a minute or two.

Music:

I like alittle bit of everything, really. It's much easier to tell you what I don't like. I'm not a huge fan of country but some is okay. (Ghetto) rap sucks and I don't do any of that jazz or classical stuff either. .. Orchestra!! BAAAH! Borrrring!! I ♥ the 80's!! A few of my all time favorite artists are: Matchbox 20, Live, REM, Creed, Nickleback, Kelly Clarkson, Avril Lavinge, The Beatles, Madonna, Metallica, Etc...

Movies:

My all time favorite movies include: ET, Titanic, The Hand That Rocks the Cradle, Grease, Billy Maddison, The Wedding Singer, The Wizard of Oz, American Pie, parts 1 and 2. Shrek parts 1 and 2, (can't wait to see the 3rd one thats due to come out this summer) Bruce Almighty, Just like Heaven, Blast from the Past, Back to the Future, (they were all good but 1 and 2 were the best), 16 Candles, The Notebook. I'm a sucker for romantic comedies.

Television:

I don't watch very much television but when I do, it's usually something on Lifetime, Discovery Health Channel, Court TV, or TLC. I try to avoid the local and world news at all costs. They never have any good things to report, so why bother? If and when you find me parked in front of the tube you can expect to see stuff like A Baby Story, Babies: Special Delivery, (even tho they always make me cry.) Forensic Files, Worlds Wildest Police Videos, Life In The ER, Stories Of Survival, Diagnosis Unknown, and/or Cops.

Books:

Does Cosmo magazine count as a book? LOL!! I don't have a whole lot of time to read but I like Flowers in the Attic by V.C Andrews and A Boy Called "IT" by David Pelzner. Shel Silverstein is one of my all time favorite poets and authors. Even though Shel has passed on, His Light in the Attic will never burn out, nor will his Sidewalk Ever End.. I ♥ The Giving Tree best of all. It's one of my girls' favorite stories too. A few of my favorite poems by Silverstein are as follows ~My Beard ~ ♥ My beard grows to my toes I never wears no clothes I wraps my hair around my bare and down the road I goesHug-O-War ~ ♥ I will not play at tug o' war. I'd rather play at hug o' war, Where everyone hugs Instead of tugs, Where everyone giggles And rolls on the rug, Where everyone kisses, And everyone grins, And everyone cuddles, And everyone wins.

Heroes:

My beautiful barrowed angels; Karraleigh and Kerrianne. And of course I mustn't forget my loving husband, Ryan. They make me feel like the luckiest person in the world and they help keep me going from one day to the next. My Dad is also one of my biggest heros. He always offers the best advice, he's the smartest person I know, and his sense of humor is to die for. He definately knows how to keep me on my toes. I ♥ you too, Daddy. I'll always be your little girl. I ♥ each and every one of my heros unconditionally. I appreciate them for all that they've done for me and because they've never once let me down in my time of need.
