Six Planet Syndicate started as a joke in the summer of 1996, and pretty much still is.
They recorded their first album "Easy Listening for the Tone Deaf" intermittently between 1998 and 2002. They would have recorded it quicker but they kept getting distracted with shiny objects and reruns of "Sanford and Son." Shortly after the release of "Easy Listening," they released "Random Alien Vomit Droppings" which basically consisted of songs that were so bad, they were left off the first album. So much for self respect. Shortly after, the drummer quit to persue a career of being a douchebag. After failing at that, he has returned, and now Six Planet Syndicate is quietly plotting their return from the abyss.
