Cue to Recall had played 31 concerts - 23 in Norway, 7 in Germany, and 1 in Sweden (Linköping, QFF 2004). By the end of 2004 Cue to Recall signed to the german Label Electro-Shock-Records, and the debut album Mainland was released in march 2005. Band Members: Bernd Lohse
Bernd is the composer and producer of Cue to Recall.
Born in Germany in 1969, he grew up in a small village near Neumünster. Together with his norwegian wife, he moved to Norway in 1998. Bernd worked on his own with never released projects since 1986, while he was inspired by the 80's new romantic, synthpop and subsequently Electro/EBM Terje E. Vangbo
Terje is the singer and lyricist of Cue to Recall.
Born 1970 and brought up in Oslo, the Underground scene had an obvious influence on Terje. He´s inspired by gothic rock as well as electronic music. His strong voice provides a unique charisma with no parrallel.
Influences: Influences range from Covenant, the early Apoptygma Berzerk, Projekt Pitchfork, The Human League, to Bauhaus and David Bowie
Sounds Like: The sound is melodious and energetic. Many a time compared to Covenant, Cue to Recall have a kind of brute sound, darker and colder than most Futurepop bands, with distinctive Electro/Wave traits. Guitars lack...but don't sadden, in reality Bernd and Terje like guitars!
