I love words and word games, Earl Grey tea, my girlfriend's guacamole, snow days, and watching my cats chase one another. I love to put things in alphabetical order or otherwise arrange and organize. My favorite color is blue and I took five years of Latin. I wrote my "comps" at Kenyon on the short stories of Katherine Mansfield, a friend and rival of Virginia Woolf. My graduate thesis was on gender identity in young adult literature. If I could afford it, I'd be a student for the rest of my life.
