Douglas Adams - Hitchikers guide to the galaxy - Need I say more? Stephen King - mostly the Dark Tower Series - Robert Heinlein - Stranger in a strange land - All kinds of stuff short of romance novels. I have a pretty strong stomach but it has it's limits.
