Nadine calls the west coast her home since January 2000 when she first set foot in the Yukon. Born and raised in a musical family in the Gaspe Peninsula in Quebec she has been singing as long as she can remember. Described as uniquely passionate and powerful, her voice has been capturing the hearts of audiences across Canada and the United States. Playing upright bass is fairly new, a few years or so, about the same time as she discovered the swing era. A passion for the music from the 30s and 40s grew stronger and bossa nova just seemed like a great idea to warm up cold Yukon winter nights!Nadine now spends her time playing and singing in the bluegrass band Hungry Hill.She also plays in other bands like the Yukon's own old tyme Done Gone String Band as well as Whitehorse's new swing sensation Fleur de Swing
