About Me

Hi, all! I am Michelle Quinn Zeren, also known as Miche(Me-sh). I am a Mom and wife and I enjoy all kinds of outdoor activities esp. playing with my little boy! There is nothing more important to me than my family and God. I am married to my best friend; Bill is the most wonderful person and friend and he truly does complete me. I can not imagine my life without Bill in it and I love nothing more than walking around the park with him and our boy. The birth of our son makes our hearts overflow with love and joy! I enjoy donating time to my church and working with young people in religious ed classes. I also play French horn in a concert band and I am learning to knit. Cooking is my favorite pastime, esp if wine or coffee is involved! I used to work for Starbucks (my co-worker, Sam, started my nickname, Miche, and it has since stuck) before becoming a stay at home Mommy, so I am full of random coffee knowledge, should anyone care. I am also a huge Starbucks fan and love using my amazing coffee maker to brew the rich dark goodness! Can you tell I LOVE coffee??!!? It was hard giving it up while I was pregnant! I have also spent the past few years teaching preschool and it was the most rewarding job I have ever had! Children are so wonderful and amazing! (Can you tell I am a parent? haha!) I have a German Shepard named Eddie and he is the coolest dog ever and a great guard dog as well. He loves our little boy, but let me just say I have had to hold Eddie back from biting some repairmen. Good thing he knows to listen to me! A party is always a great idea and I love to throw parties with my friends and family.An important thing I think everyone should keep in mind is that you never know how you might affect a person you run into, no matter how brief the encounter. Everyone should do their best to have positive impacts on others and to remember that the human heart is fragile and should not be played with. We should all do what we can to help others when we see they are going down a bad path. At the same time, we should try to hold back our judgments as all of us have faults. You never know how your smile and kind words might change a stranger's day.Myspace Graphics

My Interests

Crafts, children activities, family, running, nutrition, reading, playing french horn, painting and world travel.

I'd like to meet:

If I could travel in time, I think Ben Franklin would be a fantastic person to speak with. Also, while I am time traveling, I would enjoy speaking to Jesus, Mary and Joseph. Time travel aside, I would enjoy meeting Condoleezza Rice; she is a strong, intelligent woman and I wish she would run for president. I joined MySpace to keep up with my sisters and cousins as well as to see if any old high school friends were here.

Music:

All kinds except those with tons of dirty words...there are so many beautiful, strong words to get thoughts across, why use the 8 or so dirty ones? Anyways, I like all kinds, esp with a good beat, so long as the language is acceptable.

Movies:

My favs: National Treasure, The Day After Tomorrow, The Count of Monte Cristo anything Disney, though I think Lilo and Stitch is my very favorite...I am a movie freak, esp old movies. There are very few I don't like.

Television:

Food Network!!!Also, the Discovery Channel and the Science Channel....fascinating!

Books:

I love reading and I read everything. I love getting ideas for new reads from Oprah's book club. I am in multiple book clubs and love it.

Heroes:

My husband. He is the most amazing, loving, doting, devoted man and my very best friend. Watching Bill with our son makes me fall in love with him all over again. All people should be lucky enough to marry their best friend!
