QUEEN CHIOMA BIOGRAPHY
Queen Chioma Nworgu (birth names) aged 25, is a Festive and lively TV appearing Motivational Speaker, Singer, Events Organiser and Director of Festive Success Seminars. She has a BA degree in Mass Communications and Sociology and aims to motivate and inspire people in our society through seminars and singing.
Queen Chioma She was born and raised in Southampton and moved to London at the age of 4 and has lived in London since. She is the first born among her 3 sisters and 1 brother. Her heritage is Nigerian, her mother and father who are both successful Lecturers were born in Nigeria and reside in London. Her mother Dr Elizabeth Achinewhu-Nworgu is a role model to all woman who has six degrees including Phd in Education, MBA and LLM and has set up the Focus Learning Support LTD company (Chioma is in charge of the Festive Success Seminars within the family business).
Queen has always loves singing, dancing and acting in various pantomimes and shows since primary school. However the defining moment for her when she performed at secondary school her music exam, she performed ‘Ain’t Nobody’ by Faith Evans “I was the only one who was given a 10 out of 10 and a standing ovation, it was as if I knew that I was destined to sing and perform at this moment and I felt that all could tell too”
PERFORMANCES AND TALENT COMPETITIONS
Since then she has not stopped singing and dancing…she did her A-levels which included Performing Arts where she often performed to large audiences. She decided to pursue singing passionately joined the KT youth Choir. Her biggest performance to date was with the Kensington Temple Choir at the Royal Albert Hall to a crowd of over 2,000 people, she has warmed up the crowd for huge gospel stars such as Nicole.C.Mullin and Raymond and Co, she has met famous stars such as Gwen Stefani, Kelly Rowland and Samantha Mumba, and shook hands with the Governor of Nigeria (July 2008).As a Solo-Singer Queen Chioma has performed in major talent shows and events across London and the UK had the success of being a finalist in Fame Finder Talent Show – held in Yates Leicester Square December 2007, a Semi-Finalist in Essex Laindon Talent Show, Queen Chioma has also had some success on MTV. She entered an MTV Presenting Show called "Is she MTV" and persisted in the competition.
FESTIVE SUCCESS SEMINARS & TV EXPOSURE
2008 has shown some good signs of joy and favour for Queen Chioma in the TV world. This began when she was spotted by Shola (Presenter from Ben TV Hidden Treasure Show) when she performed at a Thanksgiving Event for the Governor of Nigeria at the Thistle Hotel in Marble Arch in Dec 2007 (Queen Chioma also got to meet and shake hands with the Governor of Nigeria in July 2008 at another Government event). Since her remarkable performance she has appeared on Ben TV 5 times this 2008 on shows such as ‘Life Success’ and ‘Hidden Treasure’. Queen Chioma presented her very own ‘Seminar on Success for Women’ in a venue in Highbury and this was shown on Ben TV for 1 hour seminar in February 2008 (also repeated in April 2008). In August 2008 she presented ‘Festive Success’ a sensational motivational business meeting in a venue in Highbury with outstanding guest speakers, the feedback so far has been fascinating, the audience were great!!
MYSPACE, YOUTUBE SUCCESS:
Queen Chioma is also a songwriter who has written 'Because of you' and Beauty for Ashes' which she has just put up on myspace as the latest versions Dec 2008. Not only has myspace been a platform of success for the singer...Youtube has proved to be a platform of Fame for Q.C. with thousands of profile views. and hundreds of fans. She uploaded her first video onto Youtube as a cheesy fun experiment in Feb 2007 and since then she has become a youtube star. Currently she has over 30 videos singing live on youtube and over 20,000 profile views her video's have been viewed well over 80,000 times in total.
Queen Chioma hopes to achieve greater things in 2009. She gives thanks for all the support her dear fans give her and most of all Queen thanks God for his blessings and for her supportive mother Dr Elizabeth Achinewhu-Nworgu who is a role model to all women.
