BIO
In the 2001 Valentina moves to L.A where she get the chance to meet very important people of show-biz as Ray Charles, Seth Riggs, Beppe Cantarelli.In May 2003 she’s back to Italy. She signs a contract with the Russian Major Joker Media ltd which releases her first album in the Balcany area and let her perform live in duet with the jazz singer and pianist Sergey Manoukian.Valentina Mey was the official Italian artist supporting the James Brown Tour 2006 in Italy.In June 2006 she releases her first single and video for the Italian market, which guest her Italian friend Fabio Fulco., on the national musical channels.In April 2007 Valentina releases “Because of you (Esse è amor)”, duet with the soccer world champion Josè Altafini, a tribute to the brasilian music they both love, the Bossanova.In may 2007 Valentina Mey’s brand new Album “no more blues” is released, a crossover of Jazz, blues and acid jazz , pop and funk.
