RexTrax Recording Studios is located on Buford Highway in Gwinnett County Georgia and is convenient to the Atlanta and Athens area. We offer recording services at the most affordable rates available and strive to provide high quality for every client and every style of music. Our facility is designed with the performer in mind and features a host of luxuries that make recording here a pleasurable experience. All of our many rooms are tuned for optimal sound enhancement and all are also climate controlled. Line of sight ensures that multiple band members can play live simultaneously in separate rooms while maintaining constant visual and verbal contact with each other. This is a feature that makes live recording quick and painless while preventing bleed over.
By now most musicians have heard of Pro Tools and understand the power and speed of digital editing in regards to audio, but we want you to know that we are not just another Pro Tools studio that popped up over night. We have operated in the Atlanta area for over 10 years and our solid reputation has allowed us to continue to grow. By combining vintage gear, new computer technology and engineering know-how we have created an environment that can give your music the attention and care it deserves. Because we are affordable you will not feel rushed to perform.
The studio is managed by Paul Cobb, graduate of the Atlanta Institute of Music, 1992. Paul has 16 years of experience recording music and has clients spanning the country. Multiple engineers are available for an additional charge. Session musicians are invited to contact RexTrax for periodic work on projects.
The Director of Artist Relations is Dave Farrell. Dave has been in the Music Business since 1988, as the Founder of Diamond Productions, Inc. where they produced over 30 MAJOR concerts working with Atlanta area venues... Including Artist like: The Outfield, Colin Hey of Men at Work, Starship, ARS, Carolyn Dawn Johnson, The Tams, The Drifters, The Crystals, Mothers Finest, KC & The Sunshine Band, Drivin N Cryin, Ambrosia, Banks N Shane, Nelson, The Swingin Medallions, and Gary Wright, just to name a few.
Dave has managed over 55 bands in his 19 years and dedicates his life to insure the quality of respect and music quality for the artist that he works with. Dave is also the Lead Singer of Jaded Truth (formally Velvet Jones), so he knows what it is like to want the top quality of service and he will insure it.

Bulk Time Promotions We understand that a cutting edge recording can take a few hours longer than your average demo CD project. For this reason, we have put together packaged prices on bulk studio time that allow you to book sessions in 4, 6, 8, or 10 hour blocks on weekdays or weekends. The price for 40 bulk studio hours is $1400.00. This is the most flexible and cost effective plan we offer for time intensive projects.
We can also handle all of your digital imaging needs to produce a cutting edge CD and packaging. Remember, we are one of the few places that develop and manufacture interactive and enhanced audio CDs.
