My Motorcycle Accident, For those people that didn't know, on July 9th, I was on my my bike preceding north through an intersection with a light when a man was coming at me south making a left turn. He clipped me and took me down. I had to be flown by Helicopter medivac to Shock Trauma where I stayed for almost 2 days. Then for the next 2 weeks I was in the Rehab center. I finally got to come home on July 24th. The doc said I will be out of work for 3 to 6 months. I ended up with an open compound Femur fracture which is the biggest bone in your thigh and I had some small bleeding on my brain. Here it is 7 month later I think I am doing pretty good for what I went through. Well, I’m still out of work. My leg is fine where I snapped it. I fractured my knee and that is the only thing giving me problems. For that question everyone is asking....will you ride again.....(Hell Yeah), just with more caution then I did before. Got the insurance money and have my new Fatboy and hopefully will be in Strugis in August 2007.
