Nowadays Star Music is not a beginner in Russian record business.
Initially the company existed as a sub-label of the Dance Paradise company, however, in August 2002 the young company gained its independence and made the first move to conquer not only the domestic musical market but also the western one.

As a result of this cooperation the Star Music company represents a wide range of the most modern and trendy artists in Russia. Among them David Vendetta, Roger Sanchez, Sharam, Supafly Inc, Dim Chris, Dirty South, Mason, Outwork, Tom Novy, Chus & Ceballos, Jesse Garcia, Fedde Le Grand, Cascada and many others.
Nowadays Star Music is one of the few independent companies that not only releases licensed compilations of modern western music but also arranges performances of various DJs in Russia and organizes different shows and concerts.
Adopting its musical policy Star Music parlayed club music first of all. The sub-label Lucky Records was established especially for this musical trend.
Star Music/ Lucky Records release 5-6 compilations a month. Except the well-known club series Exclusive Music, De Luxe the company also releases such series of compilations of pop and dance music as Eurohit Top 20 and Star Music Hits. These compilations feature the famous names and hits of European music charts.
