Samarah Musumeci / Singer Songwriter.
...It all started back when i was about 12 years old.
My friend and I used to get together and one of our fave
past-times was singing and writing songs. Started out pretty
dodgy...but we slowly grew...firstly we just wrote and sang
the songs a capella, but as the years went on, I taught myself
guitar and tinkered with basic piano...and we gradually got better. Soon after we started performing at many local events!
Hit Highschool and started out on my own string. It was a great
learning curve performing and writing songs by myself without
the other half (but also a challenge!). I was asked to write the
Senior Song for Mareeba State High School's Yr12's for 2007,
which was an honour! The end result was: "Goodbye for Now", which will be cherished and remembered for years to come!
Since leaving school I've had so many opportunities through
fellow workmates and friends! It's been great to get some
recording happening! Something I'd only dream of once upon
a time! The experience also that I've had through performing,
and the encouragement from friends and family has helped made me who I am today. But most of all, God has been there every step of the way, and has guided me to where I am now!
I hope that you enjoy listening to my music...and be inspired to get out there and do your best, letting nothing stand in your way. But, I'll say one thing, getting constructive criticisim can really help you grow and develop musically.
