what is good is beneficial to us, what is wrong and evil is harmful to us. Doing what is wrong or evil hurts us, and damages what is most important to us- our soul. No one really desires what is harmful unless he fails to recognise it as such, unless he mistakes it for something beneficial. All wrong doing then, results from ignorance.
